Nikki Warren (nee Chad) is a fully qualified Naturopath, Medical Herbalist and Natural Fertility Specialist based in Peregian Springs on the Sunshine Coast. Nikki is a member of the Australian Natural Therapists Association (ANTA) and has been in clinical practice since 2008. She uses an integrative approach to healthcare, incorporating scientific diagnostic testing methods with the use of natural therapies, lifestyle changes, exercise and stress management.
"After years of struggling with the symptoms of Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome and numerous visits to doctors and specialists, I turned to natural therapies. Within three weeks of starting a new herbal remedy I started seeing results. After continuing treatment for a few months the results had such an impact on me that it created a desire to change my career and in 2004 I began studying Naturopathy. In 2005 I gave birth to my daughter Taylah (pictured left) and this inspired me to specialise in the area of fertility and pregnancy. In 2008 I completed a Certificate in Doula Education through Optimum Birth enabling me to assist a couple's progress from pre-conception, through the pregnancy and labour and postnatally. In May 2011, my daughter and I moved to Peregian Springs in Queensland, Australia and we've never been happier. I love the lifestyle here and the beautiful weather and most of all I love the people".
Nikki is currently studying towards a Bachelor of Health Science (Complementary Medicine) through Charles Sturt University. She has also completed a Diploma of Naturopathy, Advanced Diploma of Western Herbal Medicine and post graduate courses in "Practical herbal therapy" and "The use of herbs during pregnancy" and a hypnobirthing course. To keep her skills and knowledge current, Nikki attends at least 2 webinars per month, adding value to her client's consultations. From 2009-2010 she wrote articles on natural health for the Magic Beans website in N.Z. and is now one of the top health experts answering questions related to fertility and pregnancy on Australia's Healthshare website.
Nikki believes in inspiring people to take a proactive approach to health care, maintaining wellness, rather than the management of ill health that may be preventable.
