Doula Services

A Birthing Doula supports a labouring woman by attending to her emotional and physical needs, working alongside not instead of, medical professionals. A Doula usually begins supporting a woman at home during early labour and uses massage and positioning techniques to help with pain relief. As a Naturopath, I will be using natural therapies such as homeopathy, herbs, Bach flowers and aromatherapy to help create a relaxing atmosphere and relieve anxiety. The couple will be reassured by the fact that they can ring me at any time during early labour and I will come to their house so they can relax and enjoy one of the most important events of their lives.
