I have been suffering from bloating and stomach cramps after eating certain foods for a few years now. However, this year the problem escalated to the point where I could no longer ignore it. I would eat certain foods and experience dramatic side effects such as nausea, extreme bloating to the point where I looked 6 months pregnant, immediate diarrhoea, stabbing pains in my stomach, tiredness, stress, migraines and dizziness. I tried to get help from doctors, internet searches, books, talking to people with similar problems and was told I had Irritable Bowel Syndrome but knowing this didn’t help. Coming across Nikki Chad’s business card was the best thing that happened to me. I made my appointment for as soon as I could and couldn’t wait to see her in the hope she’d finally be able to help me with my problem.
She chatted to me about my symptoms and I was impressed by how thorough she was with her questions. She also did some tests to find out extra information and to diagnose my problem.
In conclusion she suggested I stick to a diet suited to my blood type and also steer clear of the foods causing the problems which in my case are wheat, gluten, lactose, caffeine, highly processed foods and high fat foods. She also made me a herbal medicine to help my digestive system and lower my stress levels and she also recommended I take some supplements.
A month later I am feeling 100% better and have a flat stomach again. Relief!! Nikki provided information, advice, but most importantly a clear and achievable plan so that I can minimise my symptoms and deal with my eating problems on a day to day basis.
